Breathe deep with 70s US jazz and Belgium ambient to experimental art rock and blissed-out UK hip hop.
This week is curated by Jamie Pettinger aka Saint Sunday who is co-founder and director of Edinburgh’s online community radio station EHFM, the final instalment in a month-long takeover by the station.
In their words “I think this is a fairly accurate depiction of the music I listen to most mornings. Lots of folk, jazz and funk – music with a human touch. It’s also the styles of music I like to base my monthly show Home Listening around.
I recently spent a month in Australia, where it was still summer, and this is the music I found myself waking up and walking around in the sunshine to.
This mix is dedicated to my beautiful fiancée, who I am lucky enough to spend every morning with and who puts up with listening to my music all the time.”
EHFM are an Edinburgh-based online community radio station, broadcasting from multi-arts venue Summerhall. They exist to provide a hub for the grassroots creative voices of Edinburgh, and to broadcast the vibrant sounds of Scotland’s capital to the world.
