We Out Here have announced the first stage splits for their third edition on summer bank holiday weekend.
Taking place between 25th-28th August, the festival, which is curated by broadcaster and DJ Gilles Peterson, alongside Worldwide FM & Brownswood Recordings, will be headed up by a string of legendary artists: Underground Resistance live, Masters at Work, who’ll be celebrating 25 years of Nuyorican Soul, Fabio & Grooverider and the Outlook Orchestra and Pharoah Sanders.
Over on the Rhythm Corner stage, Hessle Audio return for another takeover to celebrate 15 years in the game, and bring along special guests Shanti Celeste and Bake for the ride, while Josey Rebelle has curated a line up that features SHERELLE, Channel One, Gilles Peterson and Shut Up and Dance.
Elsewhere, on The Forest & Woodland stages, there’s DJ sets from Tim Reaper, dreamcastmoe, Parris and more, hosted by collectives and labels including Eglo Records, BBE, Touching Bass, Crown Ruler & Mr Scruff. Rounding off the announcement, there’s live performances, DJ sets and takeovers on the Lush Life stage from Calibre, cktrl, Bradley Zero, Total Refreshment Centre, First Word Records and more.
As always, the music programme is accompanied by wellness, family and cultural activities, including talks, an independent record fair, wild swimming and a roller disco. At the end of the month, the full line up and stage splits will be announced, including a mammoth 12 stages of music and over 250 Live Artists & DJs.
