Drift from 1968 spiritual and 1976 Romanian modal jazz, to New York cool and 2002 free funk.

This week is curated by Stockholm-based label Piano Piano, made up of Sven Wunder & John Henriksson and releasing music of the former, a master of the library sound. Wunder has just released his latest record, Asterism Waltz a blissful composition featuring two versions disarming in equal measure.

In his own words “This is a selection of wintery themes that carries some light into the holiday season with jazzy motifs, elegant bossanova’s and shooting stars.

ASTERISM WALTZ (PP2004) via Piano Piano is available on digital and to pre-order on 7″ over on Sven’s Bandcamp.
