Meander through 70s Brazilian psychedelia and 60s French garage punk to South African jazz vocals and Turkish Anatolian rock.
Today’s mix is curated by Hether, aka Paul Castelluzzo, a 25-year-old American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from San Diego. The talented musician has worked with the likes of Anderson Paak, Mac Miller, Lianne Las Havas, Kali Uchis and last month released his Sticky Thumb EP replete with guitar-led dream-bound compositions.
In his words: “I made this mix in my garage, it’s a lot of stuff I’ve been listening to this year, and some stuff from my childhood. The overall mood should make you feel like you’re on a motorcycle in Egypt and you’re riding over massive sand dunes trying to escape a sand storm but it never gets you and then you finally make it to the beach.”
