Monday Morning Mixtape 329

Rove from soothing UK jazz and bluesy US soft-rock to searching Toronto neo-soul and dreamy Brazillian psychedelia.

This week is curated by Aitman and Zaremba two of the team behind Liverpool-based internet radio station, Melodic Distraction. With the support of Dr. Martens, the station is currently running a Kickstarter to build a new studio, coffee shop and bar after being forced out of their old studio in the middle of the pandemic.

In their words: “We wanted to curate a mix that reflects the early morning radio shows we have been broadcasting this year. A blend of old and new from around the musical map.”

Head over to MD’s Kickstarter to help support their month-long campaign raising funds to build a new studio space for the community-led radio station.

The team have lots of great rewards available for you support including MD tees and uniquely designed postcards. As well as The Lucky Dig, an exclusive vinyl raffle in collaboration with independent record store Dig Vinyl. The raffle will exchange pledges for rare and rated records donated by the likes of Bontan, Dig Vinyl, Banoffee Pies, Tea Street Band and Liverpool Sound City, as well as the station’s 190 resident DJs.
