Emanate from Brooklyn folk-rock and Soviet jazz to Danish downtempo house, Swedish Balearic and Afro-Brazilian dance.
This week is curated by Bugs Groove aka Seb Theodossiadis is one of Soup’s DJs and a member of staff at Eastern Bloc Records in Manchester. He founded and runs Techno.logy which is a mix series and community with an emphasis on techno in all its forms and he currently has a residency on Liverpool’s Melodic Distraction Radio. He’s also part of the Leeds and Bristol-based No Way Back collective.
In his own words: “This mix is an exploration of music I’d tend to play in bars and sit-down events and for the most part, music which isn’t purpose-built for a dancefloor. I go through a broad range of styles and genres using a combination of cassettes, vinyl and digital.”
