Formerly Bert Stevens, Bert S has retired his misnomer in pursuit of more google-friendly pseudonyms and has inadvertently joined a very exclusive club. Following contributions to XVI’s Degrees of Separation comp and our 2014 Advent Calendar, Endeavours represents his debut EP, helping launch new Estonian label Gestalt in the process. Taking things back to 1994, ‘Cassini’ has all the hallmarks of Basic Channel’s Quadrant Dub, ramped up a touch with a prod at the S button (there it is again) into a slightly more supercharged Sports mode.
