Hubie Davison – I Won’t Be There EP

The title track on Hubie Davison’s debut EP is, well, just gorgeous. It’s a song to lift, when in need of something to get you up. Serene melodies and wistful-running drum kicks. I Won’t Be There will help you get to where you need to be. Endless Rhythm is a mellow bouncing track that intertwines voice with meandering beats like no other. With a lot of electronic music applying the human voice as an afterthought, it’s quite dazzling to hear the voice as an instrument in its own right. Using jesting hopscotch vocals and carefree whistle, Dublin-bred, London-based Davison proves himself to be a most novel and talented producer.

Sounds like: Mount Kimbie, Nicolas Jaar, John Talabot
