Aptly titled ‘Leisure Song’, our pick from Saine’s upcoming Small Remedies EP couldn’t be more laid back if it tried. The sun-drenched aural aesthetic is enough to transport you to a secluded, sandy beach, while its sedated beat and groggy groove guides you lazily on a summer’s day stroll. The husky vocal drifts in and out over a guitar lick which begins to make you really believe you’re on a private island on the periphery of the Pacific, a warm breeze blowing through the track in the form of the wonderfully bright string sample, reminiscent of Andres’ ‘New For U‘. Sit back, relax and listen at your leisure.
