This Saturday sees one of the best curated nights to hit Room 1 at Fabric since their birthday in October. Romanian minimal legend Rhadoo, the serious one of the a:rpia:r trio, is gracing the decks again, bringing his powerful broken basslines and supreme command of percussion.

Having witnessed the three compatriots play together only a month ago, a repeat performance by them individually was already overdue. This time, Rhadoo is joined by Canadian Akufen, whose contribution to the Fabric mix CD series perfectly encapsulates the melding of party vibes with intense minimal. In fact, this characterises his sound and, indeed, what was popular at the time of its release in 2004. Having seen him perform live at Fabric before under his Horror Inc. alias, we can rest assured that we’ll be in safe hands.

To complete Room 1’s lineup, we’ve got two of the most legendary names in minimal, Baby Ford and Thomas Melchior, performing as Soul Capsule. Together, these three acts cover slightly different sides of the minimal spectrum, and it’ll be an incredible joy to see them at work.

Room 2 sees the celebration of One Records‘ 5th birthday, with label bosses Adam Shelton and Subb-an at the helm. Bringing a decidedly more house approach to proceedings, this’ll be a welcome break for people who don’t want to lose themselves in the square box that is Room 1. Joining them will be Frenchman D’Julz and a special live set from Greek, John Dimas. Rounding off the bill are the Acid Mondays, who will bring house records that pack a serious punch.

Room 3 sees the takeover of underground music promoters *riffraff, applying their no-frills booking policy of ‘If we like them, we book them’. The bill mainly features their residents, alongside Fabric’s resident Terry Francis.

In a night where all musical bases have been covered, it isn’t hard to see why people still flock to the Farringdon powerhouse for a good time. With programming like this, Fabric is securing itself in the hearts of both real dance music connoisseurs and those just wanting to party. See you on the dance floor.
