Monday Morning Mixtape 291

Skip through pre-revolution Iranian soul, 1983 San Fran spiritual jazz-funk and 2019 Malawian babatone.

This week is curated by Hamish OOX, founder of the OOX Music party series and a monthly resident on Netil Radio in Hackney. In his own words: ““I moved to London a little under a year ago from a sheep farm in the West Country. It has been a hard transition but the music around the city is fantastic. Weekends are spent walking around the markets with afternoons in record shops and evenings down the pub playing my records. I love artists that straddle multiple genres. This mix has a lot of jazz, funk and rock fusions and songs with plenty of soul.”
