London-based label Tiff’s Joints are gearing up to unleash their fifth release into the world, this time from French DJ and producer Laroye. Following EPs from Hazards of Prophecy and Colm K, this three tracker celebrates a similar love for broken rhythms that the label have become known for. Afro-Latin percussion rules on our pick, opener ‘Colombia 26a’. Setting the pace for the rest of the EP, its groove is underpinned by a thick bass line and reflective synth stabs.
