A DJ and digger with two decades under his belt, Lyon’s Sacha Mambo is a prolific collector of dance floor peculiarities
. Through a series of edits, released via his esteemed Macadam Mambo record Label, Sacha has brought new life to some of the rare gems he’s unearthed on digging trips across the world.
Here, Sacha puts a fresh spin on Outbar’s 80s synth pop oddity ‘Away from the Heat’, bringing the track’s more club-friendly components to the fore. Loud and atmospheric, the intro melts away into breezy guitar flicks, balearic sax and airy vocals before being pulled back into dance floor realms where it began.
