Doppelate is an integral part of London-based imprint and party series, Let’s Go Swimming. Alongside Henry Fry, the Balamii Radio presenter started up the label arm in June of 2016, releasing seven records from the likes of Octo Champ, Polly Moneaux and, of course, two instalments of his own.
For this outing on Munich’s Slam City Jams, he joins COEO, Marco Lazovic and label bosses Rhode & Brown, for the first of the imprint’s self-titled compilation series. Holding a sense of weightlessness throughout, ‘Four Feet Up The Stairs’ sprinkles pinpoint percussion over dreamy synth washes and warm syncopated drums, elevated to new heights by a squelchy acid bassline.
