Jayda G announces new EP for 1080p and unveils video for ‘Rishikesh’

We’re pleased to reveal today news of the forthcoming EP from the excellent Jayda G. Sixth Spirit Of The Bay EP is in part inspired by the forests of Ontario of her native Canada, where Jayda spent much time during her studies. Side A, she tells us,  is “infused with a sense of warmth and carefreeness” channeling a complete curiosity during an adventurous time, while the B-side offers remixes of Montreal downtempo soul duo, Cafe Lanai. Fittingly the four-track EP will be released on the fine 1080p imprint for a fully Canadian affair.

It doesn’t stop there, as the Berlin/Vancouver dweller also unveils beautiful synesthetic visuals in her new video for ‘Rishikesh’, which we are delighted to be able to premiere for you here. ‘Rishikesh’ is taken from Jayda’s debut solo effort Jaydaisms, which we also premiered a track from, titled ‘Sounds of Fuca‘.
