It’s been a good year for Patterns in Brighton. Since opening it’s doors for the first time last May, the venue has rapidly established itself both within and outside the seaside town as the go-to nightlife destination of the southeast coast. With almost a year under it’s belt, the venue isn’t slowing down even for a moment. Having already hosted Gilles Peterson and O’Flynn, March will see Detroit Swindle, BBK’s Frisco and Canadian born lady of techno, jungle and house B.Traits.
April sees the team step it up a notch starting with an Aus Music takeover, the label celebrate 10 years with Will Saul, Marquis Hawkes and Faro. Anthony Naples and Shanti Celeste make respective visits not long afterwards before Mala, Andrew Weatherall, Hodge and Optimo all swoop in for a piece of the action.
Then in May Jackmaster and Kornel Kovacs assume command for the Patterns 1st Birthday celebrations across both floors plus, before Joy Orbison goes b2b with Fold. The Pattern’s seafront terrace opens for the first time this month too, all just before The Great Escape Festival supervise for the weekend giving a few some well earned respite. If that wasn’t enough then you can also look forward to a few biggies early summer including Denis Sulta and Marshall Jefferson.
