Jamie xx, Omar-S, Moodymann & Ben Klock to play Sunfall 2016

Sunfall_LineUp

2016 marks the inaugural outing for Sunfall, a new festival from the people behind Dimensions, Outlook, Phonox and XOYO. The first wave of announcements sees Joy Orbison, Fatima Yamaha and Digital Mystikx take to the bill, alongside heavy hitters Ben Klock and Jamie xx. Sunfall also welcomes two of Detroit’s finest, Moodymann and Omar-S, with festival favourites Hunee and Jeremy Underground likewise on hand to cause a stir. A pleasant surprise is the addition of jazz saxophonist royalty, Kamasi Washington, as well as the heavily in-demand Yussef Kamaal Trio who will bring an added diversity to the line-up.

A concept that takes many of its cues from Sonar festival, Sunfall will take over Brockwell Park by day, yet when the night draws in punters will disperse to one of their chosen after parties. A concept that will work particularly well in London where, all to often, sound levels prevent these festivals from truly getting going late into the evening. With Mister Saturday Night and Rhythm Section, Metalheadz, Deviation and Dimensions among those hosting the late night soirees we’re in for a treat across the board. Hot on everyone’s lips, and rightly so, we’re excited to see how Sunfall’s new approach plays out.

Check the latest lineup above and grab tickets from the Sunfall website (only available as a day+afterparty combo).
