FunkinEven to play disused prison cells in Bristol

FunkinEven Bristol

On 12th February, Piff mark their return to the Bristol party landscape with help from fellow West Countrymen Shall Not Fade, a label that has quickly been gaining a strong reputation in their own right. To show they are not messing around, they’ve called upon Apron label boss FunkinEven to play the headline set.

Hailing from the depths of London, FunkinEven’s irrational blend of acid techno, laced with soulful groove undercurrents will have you shaking your limbs until dawn. After we hosted the man in the magistrates court last year, Piff & SNF are banning Stevie to the cells right underneath and there’s no better place in Bristol to host angular, distorted techno. The Island’s disconcerting atmosphere and lack of visual aesthetics or lights allows you to full immerse yourself in the sound.

Support is provided from KGW, Mavora, Yanis Koudj and Liam Butler. £10 tickets and more info are available from Facebook.
