Bruce and Facta get weird at Bristol’s first audiophile bar

Early this year we took a look round Edit Bar, Bristol’s first audiophile hang-out. Equipped with Klipsch heritage speakers and a kitchen with equal high fidelity, it offers the West Country cultural capital a welcome alternative to the ample club offerings.

Residents include Banoffee Pies, 2257ADKayne The Hermit and The Centre for Better Grooves showcasing their tastes away from the dance floor. There are also weekly playbacks through notable artists’ back catalogues, including Metro Area, James Brown and Nicolas Jaar.

On 19th May we take over Edit Bar for a 12 hour session and have invited a few local friends down. Hessle Audio’s Bruce and New Livity Sound signing Facta are letting their experimental tastes run wild with a ‘Weirdo’ and ‘Deep Bath’ set, respectively. Make of that what you will, because we have no idea what’s in store. Resident deejays in support throughout the day will be Aaron L, Harri Pepper, Hen, Jeremy, Rosie Ama and Stuart Swift.

Free entry, running 1PM-1AM. Come through before, after or during Rave On Avon. Cocktails kindly provided by Bacardi.
