Dersu Figuera has perhaps flown under the radar for some, but those who have been following realise that his silky smooth and melodious house music is some of the best in its field and we’re big fans here at STW HQ. Having affiliations with INI Movement, Highlife (the Huntleys & Palmers offshoot) and Sofrito, Dersu is also part of esteemed Basel-based trio Alma Negra. Here he presents us with a slow-burning track that’s perfect for sitting by a winter fire, but there’s a little punch to his production, with a kick-drum that wouldn’t be out of place on a more dancefloor-driven number.
