An early Christmas present that should help us all escape our winter woes, Electric Elephant have announced the first wave of acts heading to the sun-drenched Adriatic coast for their 5 day musical affair in July.

As one of the founding festivals on the Adriatic coast, Electric Elephant has garnered international recognition with forward-thinking electronic bookings and an intimate feel that has attracted a select group of kindred spirits who return each year to dance under sun-kissed and starlit skies.

New Jersey house icon Kerri Chandler will make his festival debut, joined by two other house luminaries from the States – Todd Terry and Boo Williams – who helped define house during the ‘80s and ’90s in New York and Chicago. An injection of Berlin will come from Steffi, Nick Höppner and Margaret Dygas, with Belfast favourites Bicep bringing a fresh set of heavy hitters to keep things moving. Disco royalty Greg Wilson will be providing a perfect soundtrack to those balmy summer evening, alongside Mister Saturday Night, Auntie Flo, Jane Fitz, Andrew Weatherall, Bill Brewster, Nightmares on Wax, Voyeur and Optimo.

With three stages, daily boat parties and the breath-taking Ibiza-built Barbarella’s Discotheque, the festival offers a sublimely diverse range of sounds across the electronic spectrum. Boutique accommodation, luxury Shikar tents, apartments and villas are available on site so you can rest your feet comfortably when dawn rises.

We’re also happy to announce Stamp The Wax as official media partners for Electric Elephant 2016, so keep your eyes out for more news and announcements very soon.
