Soundstream, Tama Sumo & Sotofett play Dance Tunnel in November & December

It’s testament to the quality and consistency of Dance Tunnel’s programming, that every single party it’s hosting in the next couple months is worth featuring. Its intimate confines, underneath Voodoo Ray’s pizza parlour, affords it the freedom to be as selective and self-indulgent as they please, safe in the knowledge that they won’t need to drag people off Dalston High Street just to fill the club. Don’t think this breeds complacency though, as November and December’s programme attests to.

Tama Sumo and Lakuti partner up again for Your Love, Tief invite Noema‘s Africa-leaning label back for another African Shakedown and Make Me keep things local with deep house crooner Desert Sound Colony.

Next month also sees Dance Tunnel celebrate their third birthday, helped by Soundstream, Francis Inferno Orchestra and Dan Beaumont. The following weekend they team up with their festival-sized sibling, Field Maneuvres, to unleash DJ Sotofett, the Sex Tags Mania co-founder and DJing equivalent of a marathon runner.

And that’s only half the story. See below for a full run-down of guests in November and December, and keep your eyes peeled for more announcements in the coming weeks. We can’t say too much, but we might be involved in something ourselves.

6th Nov: Black Boogie with Norm Talley
7th Nov: San Soda
13th Nov: Make Me with Desert Sound Colony
14th Nov: Italojohnson
20th Nov: Thunder with Tuff City Kids

21st Nov: Your Love with Lakuti & Tama Sumo
27th Nov: Darkroom with Helena Hauf
28th Nov: Dance Tunnel 3rd Birthday with Soundstream, Frances Inferno Orchestra and Dan Beaumont
4th Dec: Field Maneuvres and Dance Tunnel present DJ Sotofett all night
5th Dec: Tief presents African Shakedown

And here’s something from Dan Beaumont that we premiered this summer. A gospel-sampling dance floor juggernaught from the 3rd Birthday guest and Dance Tunnel resident.
