An event series that has been really making its mark on London nightlife, The Hydra returns. Based across two venues – Studio Spaces off Kingsland Road and Pennington Street in East London – the line-ups have just been announced for their autumn season and they are causing quite a stir.
Kicking things off on the 29th August there’s a loft party split over two nights featuring Âme and Henrik Schwarz on the first night and Dixon and Dolan Bergin playing the second. An already sold out show on the 30th August at the E1 Studio Spaces has a lineup of techno that will surely make your eyes water. Jeff Mills, Robert Hood and Rødhåd will be joined by a stellar cast of techno names like James Ruskin, Bristol’s own Kowton b2b Peverlist, alongside Objekt and Helena Hauff.
For possibly the most exciting part of the series, Dixon will be back, joined by Âme performing a live and DJ set, and Marcus Worgull for a very special Lost In A Moment party on Osea Island, a private island that is described as ‘surprisingly close to central London’. The ticket includes travel for this all day (setting off at 7am) event on the 19th September. Further along in the season there’s an extended all-night set from Daphni (aka Caribou) on the 20th November and a ten hour Ostgut Ton 10th Birthday party on the 12th December has Nick Höppner, Answer Code Request and Anthony Parasole headlining.
Also of mention are an Electric Minds party with Levon Vincent, Move D and Mr. G that will be sure to shake the foundations of the E1 venue and if the Dekmantel party with an as-yet secret lineup delivers even a fraction of the famed festival’s atmosphere, punters are in for an extraordinary night.
