For reasons we cannot possibly fathom, French EDM icon David Guetta has decided to remix the well-known childhood favourite. “If You’re Happy and You Know it Clap Your Hands” are the repeated lyrics in Guetta’s take on the nursery rhyme classic, and in case you were wondering, no he didn’t forget about the all important claps. The result is predictably awful, dancing between a garish EDM nightmare and the ultimate trolling experience.
The tragic song made its debut at last weekend’s Tomorrowland in Belgium, and followed Steve Aoki’s similarly painful take on the Titanic theme tune earlier on at the festival.
