Sunfall, a new instalment of parties from the team behind The Nest, launches on the last day of this month at the idyllic Dalston Roof Park. The first part of this exciting new series promises to be a lively affair, with HNNY, Baba Stiltz and the Tesselate crew one the ones and twos.
HNNY’s star has been on the rise for a few years now, going from strength to strength through releases on native labels Local Talk and Studio Barnhus. His R&B sample-heavy production style is typified by releases on the above imprints alongside his own project Puss, and tunes like 2014’s excellent ‘Surf Dude‘ fit hand in hand with Sunfall’s setting. Swedish compatriot Baba Stiltz adds more youthful energy and soulful flavour to the bill – if you’re unfamiliar check out his impressive spate of releases on Studio Barnhus, a highlight of which is his debut LP Total. Rounding things off are the Tessellate crew, known across the capital for open minded booking and musical policies.
