In an age of music fads and hype dancefloor tracks, it’s hard to come by a record which holds its own ground as truly seminal. And in saying that, there is nothing quite like hearing it being played out by its own inventor! Two years on from its conception, the masterful DJ Koze set the crowd alight by dropping his remix of Herbert’s ‘It’s Only’ towards the tail end of Just Jack’s Altered States event.
A show that provided plenty to soak our teeth into, this RBMA UK Tour‘s pitstop at Bristol’s Arnolfini brought delectable psychedelic visuals, an interactive 3D sensory experience by UK artist Victoria Topping, and extensive sets from both German trio ItaloJohnson and the legendary Koze – who had speakers literally topping over. This track encapsulated the night’s moody and engaging atmosphere, where a friendly Bristolian crowd danced as one until the early hours of the morning.
