Where: Fabric, London
When: 14th March
Tickets: £12-19
Continuing their tradition of curating some of the city’s best all-round lineups, Fabric have invited a veteran of techno and some slightly newer faces to the London clubbing scene. In Room 1 we have the pleasure of the Romanian duo of Raresh (a third of the a:rpia:r holy trinity) and Prâslea (Understand label boss) – together playing as Prâslesh. The pair have been producing and mixing together for some time, combining their love of minimal-leaning house, or house-leaning minimal. Whichever way you choose to look at it, expect something a little off centre but extremely danceable that might just make you think. Joining them will be the inimitable Craig Richards and Voigtmann, who be also be playing later on in Room 3 as part of his Toi Toi takeover.
Room 2 plays host to the unrelenting sound of Dave Clarke, who is never afraid to nudge the bpm past the 130 mark. Like for Ben Sims a month ago in the same room, the crowd can certainly expect the highest energy levels in the whole town to be within those walls come Saturday night. A special live set from Rrose has us excited too. The illusive performer isn’t often in the capital, so catch him while you can.
Continuing their somewhat of a residency at Fabric are Toi Toi, taking over the caverns of Room 3. Toi Toi are a label, legendary event organisers and an agency, but most importantly they seem to be a sort of close-knit family unit. Nowhere is this more obvious than with the guests they’ve invited to join them. Having wanted to see Audio Werner for years now, we’re very excited at the prospect of a live set from the man, alongside Toi Toi residents Lamache and Voigtmann, who bring a deeper and very intricate selection every time we’ve seen them. Andrew J Gustav rounds off the billing here, having wowed minimal lovers with his mixes of late.
