Just Jack are known best for their massive multi-headliner parties at Motion, but their smaller Bristol nights are equally as deserving of recognition. On 7th March, they have announced a night in the little used Spike Island gallery, featuring a selection of international talent.
Frankfurt’s Robert Johnson is universally agreed to be Germany’s leading club outside of Berlin, along with its highly respected label branch, Live at Robert Johnson. A tiny 100-capacity venue, the club is known for bringing in top tier DJ talent from across the globe. The lineup for Bristol is made up of exactly that, with one of the biggest names in German electronic music, Roman Flügel, and well loved Robert Johnson resident DJ, Oliver Hafenbaur.
Mister Saturday Night will also be journeying across the pond for their first Bristol appearance. Known as the breezier side of New York’s dance music scene (in contrast to the cerebral Joey Anderson or the industrial Brooklynite L.I.E.S), Mr Saturday Night kick-started the career of Anthony Naples in 2012, and have continued to release excellent records from the likes of Keita Sano and Dark Sky. A night of newsworthy talent not to be missed!
