After a recent trip to Brazil the Edinburgh born, Bristol nurtured and, now London dwelling, producer lugged back a goodie bag of records from the Lapa district in Rio, which serve as the inspiration for this track. After a chop, screw and a flip we’re left with this masterful blend of dubbed out techno. It fires up the Latino samba sound with its quick-fire percussion while the spaced out organ keys, faded out vocal sample and gliding sub give it a ‘Bristol-meets-Brazil’ dub feel.
