Stamp.TV: Amoa Mass – Welles (live garden session)

Last month we hosted a very special live session tucked away in a majestically secret garden in Bristol. Our very talented guests were the Bristol-based experimental trio, Amoa Mass.

Amoa Mass are relatively new on the scene, but aren’t to be underestimated. Their impressively mature downbeat dreamy electronic music reaches great depth, looping ethereally and vividly between their mélange of influences. Their sound primarily opens with wistfulness, a more pensive relative of Bonobo’s rainforest blues perhaps, before unfolding into an unpredictable psychedelic and dub union of, say, Darkside, Magic Mountain High and Sun Araw.

Formed of three good friends, Oscar Henson (also known by his moniker Facta), Mathew de Beneducci and Francesco Lo Giudice, Amoa Mass’ performance is intimate and truly beguiling to witness.

Check out the video we made of their song Welles and get lost in our summer evening session.

Look out for the full session dropping soon and in the meantime follow Amoa Mass on Facebook and Soundcloud
