Our resident, Harri Pepper, drops in for another musical catch-up to supply us with the sounds he’s been getting excited by this month. After starting a busy summer at our Day Party with Just Jack, he’s heading to the Glade Tent at Glastonbury this weekend, and will be opening proceedings on at the Stamp The Wax stage on Thursday at Farr Festival (you heard it hear first) as well as a set on Friday. Here’s some words from him about this mix.
This mix contains some tunes I’m feeling at the moment and am enjoying playing out as well as some of my personal all time favourites. It’s a collection of new records mixed in with some classics. Soulful, jazzy, choppy and of course summery! As there are so many of my personal favourites in here it’s a hard one to say which is my stand. S.E.X by Omar S (Conant Gardens Posse Remix) is an absolute killer groover and everyone gets involved when this is dropped! I’ll be playing this one at Glastonbury for sure, catch me in the Glade Lounge Sunday 10:30 till close.
