Slipstone Records is a new, Leeds-based vinyl and digital label started by Chris I’Anson. Big names aren’t what they’re are about, just new, raw and exciting talent, who convey a strong atmosphere and emotion in their productions. Their first release comes from Kesper, who we first came across thanks to his work with our friends at Banoffee Pies. Moonwalk EP sees Chris Pawlik assemble three simmering pieces of house/techno straight out the Ten Walls/Tale of Us handbook and we’re delighted to stream our favourite. Sounds of Leeds-via-Berlin on this one, and the perfect introduction before Kesper’s next EP on another fledgeling label Bade Records.
