When: 7th June
Where: Riverside Boxing Club Car Park
Tickets: £10 earlybirds, 1st release with Just Ticket soon
After tearing indoor spaces to shreds for the last eight years, Colonel Wrongface will be let loose on the great outdoors for the very first Just Jack day party. We’ll be joining the naughtiness at the same boxing club which played host to our day party with JMA last year, only this time we’ll be taking over the alfresco space out front. For anyone following the local news recently, it’s just feet away from the spot of Banksy’s latest work, which was audaciously taken hostage by the boxing club owners to raise some much needed funds.
In case the weirdly wonderful space – filled with shipping containers, corrugated iron buildings, scaffolding and old brick walls – wasn’t enough, we’ll be invite three master practitioners to watch over proceedings. After just recovering from the last Freak Boutique, Joy Orbison returns for his third Just Jack, Panorama Bar resident Tama Sumo comes back to Bristol after an explosive debut and the moustached disco maestro Hunee makes a welcome return to his West Country stomping ground. They’ll be joined by our new resident Harri Pepper alongside Just Jack residents Tom Rio, Dan Wild, Robin Sure and Jethro Binns.
This is by far our biggest party to date and it’s an honour to be embarking on the adventure with a brand that has heavily influenced our musical consumption in the city. Needless to say we cannot wait and hope to see many of you there!
