Adesse Versions has developed into a firm favourite at STW HQ for his imaginative, varied and irresistible edits, one of which made it onto our 2013 best of list. For his first release of 2014, he’s stepped away from the guidance of L.I.P.S and Prime Numbers to put out a vinyl only, white label and we’re delighted to be hosting our favourite track. Justified takes the seductiveness of Madonna – Justify My Love into darker territories, with added kick-drum and menacing, thudding bass. Before you take to the internet about the similarities with the original, AV is keen to stress this is as a re-edit rather than a reinvention. Either way, it’s doing the business for us.
