We start with a heart-stopping track from Yann Tiersen, which you may recognise from the Amélie soundtrack. Also included is a brilliant collaboration between Steve Spacek and Gifted & Blessed, whose new album Within These Machines is out now. Look out for the Fela Kuti cover by Kronos Quartet we featured recently, a very mellow Black Sabbath track that caught us off guard, and a couple of Melbourne artists in Demian and Mike Kay. Finally a couple of Brighton connections: an old Leon Vynehall release from our friends at Well Rounded Records (Brighton Spotlight soon to come); and Yumi and The Weather, who’s debut EP All We Can is out today. She’ll also be taking over MMM010 next week, so keep an eye out for that.
