Tornado Wallace – Desperate Pleasures

On first listen to the arpeggiated synths and soaring guitars on Desperate Pleasures, Melbourne producer Lewie Day recalls a driving montage in an imaginary 90’s Tom Cruise film: wide open landscape, convertible top down and an eagle flying overhead. It’s got that long-lost alternative rock B-side feel to it, while being equally  relevant to today’s disco/balearic dancefloor.

Sounds Like: Todd Terje, Lauer, Genius of Time
