A few months ago we did an in-depth feature on the little known (round these parts anyway) Austrian label Luv Shack. That took us up to their eighth release, and now Luv009 has dropped we thought we’d keep you in the loop. LeSale takes the reigns of this one, and if you recognise the name it might be because his collaboration with Lee Stevens was one of our tracks of 2012. It leads with LeSex, but it’s the flipside that really caught our eye. Symphony‘s got that synthetic disco shake that instantly recalls Inspector Norse, but without being a carbon copy, then labelmates Simonlebon & Jakobin give their own take on the remix. We’re finding it difficult to pick a favourite, so have treated you to both below.
LeSale – LeSexe / Symphony (LUV009) is out now on vinyl and digitally, both available from Luv Shack’s bandcamp.[thanks for the spot Theo]
