If you haven’t got yourself down to a Just Jack party yet, then shame on you. Not living in Bristol isn’t even an excuse anymore with the city’s one time best kept secret now taking over the clubs and festivals across Europe. This summer they’ll be hosting parties at Sonar in Barcelona, Garden Festival in Croatia and Eastern Electrics in, er, Knebworth. But first, a very special party at Motion in Bristol. For those not in the know, (I reiterate, you should be ashamed of yourself) the Just Jack ethos is all about putting on the best artists in House and Techno combined with weird and wonderful debauchery. It’s probably the only club night you’ll go to where bunting, flamethrowers and world class DJs come together under the same roof and nobody bats an eyelid.
The Just Jack team have come a long way from their nights at Dojos, but the same attention to detail and devotion to putting on world class, eclectic line ups has kept every party over the seven years an unmissable affair. Their latest announcement led by Acid House legend A Guy Called Gerald with Crosstown Rebels’ favourite Dan Ghenacia, Tiger & Woods and Delano Smith in support, is unlikely to be an exception.
