Throughout May, Red Bull Music Academy will be touching down in New York to put on 37 events with 230 artists. It’s an enviable selection and nearly enough to make us book some late flights to soak it in, but thanks to Team Love, we don’t have to. On 4 May they’re bringing the party to Bristol with two massive names in Electronic music: Detroit House and Hip-Hop supremo Andrés and John Talabot, the enigmatic Barcelona producer who just can’t be tagged with a quick description.
During the day, they’ll be taking part in a lecture with Idle Hands boss Chris Farell, then will head over to Blue Mountain with Justin Vandervolgen in the evening. Idle Hands will be hosting some top Bristol names in Room 2 with Pinch, October, The Kelly Twins, Shanti Celeste and Mr Farrell himself. Check Facebook for more info on the event.
