Last time we covered a Rodigan set in Bristol it was at the modestly sized White Bear pub. Motion presents a significant step up and we’re not trying to suggest he’s suddenly blown up. He’s been way famous for longer than we’ve been alive, we’re just giving you some context!
Unlike last time he’s bringing some pretty heavyweight friends in Reggae, Dancehall and Drum & Bass and Garage, including Shola Ama and DRS of the Toddla T Sound, Dub Phizix & Strategy and Goldie, setting up shop in the Tunnel for two hours. Representing the West Country will be Fireman Sam and Bristol Reggae Society.
It’s set to be quite an eclectic affair, so don’t be put off if you’ve seen Rodigan before. And honestly, even if you have, we’d hardly have to persuade you into a second outing.
