The wax is still warm from this one being pressed/uploaded to Soundcloud just hours ago, and it’s a proper good’n. The Glasgow connection is strong with both CHVRCHES and Lucky Me (Cid Rim’s label) based up there, although the beat-maker/Jazz drummer responsible is actually from Vienna. Last year he released an excellent self-titled micro-album, from which we’ve picked out favourite below, and now he’s come up with this brilliant, slow-burning yet frenetic remix. He’s also recently featured on Lucky Me’s show on Rinse FM, and the heat that’s already on CHVCHES should set him up very nicely for the coming year.
