Alongside cooking up his sophomore album Watching Movies With the Sound Off and finishing off the collaborative EP Pink Slime with Pharrell Williams this year, 20-year-old Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller has managed to make time to deviate slightly from Hip-Hop in the name of Jazz. Some may remember that Mac went under the alias Larry Fisherman a few months back to share his own beat-making skills with the world, and now as Larry Lovestein Mac is trying his hand at Jazz singing (no auto-tune). The 5-track-EP is free to download over at 2dopeboyz and you can stream our favourite track off the EP below. A lot of people are hating on this release, but we can’t help but commend the creativity. It would’ve been great to hear him drop a few bars, still though, it seems Mac has a few more tricks up his sleeve yet.
[Shouts out to Ian Cranston for the hook-up]
