Dante Kinnunen, once the drummer for The Concretes, has applied his skills to the world of Electronic-RnB-Soul this year with his solo project under the alias Dante. The Swede has been storming the Scandanavian music scene with the fruits of his labour reinforced by Sony Music’s sub-label Baseline, who put out his debut album Runners this year. His music tends to merge his own voice (akin to Nina Simone) with a score of rich productions. Won’t Go ticks all the boxes for us, merging a contagious melody screwed up version of Adele’s He Won’t Know. The accompanying video, below, was directed by fellow Swede Olle Kirchmeier following Dante’s recent trip to China. This guy is definately one to watch.
