Stamp Mix #2: Tall Black Guy

We first came across Tall Black Guy last year after hearing his magnificent take on Fela Kuti’s Water Get No Enemy, which we featured on one of our first ever mixes. Fusing Jazz and Motown influences with a love of the best Hip-Hop producers, Tall Black Guy’s soulful beats really are a joy to behold. Hot of the press is Mini Therapy Chops EP, which you can buy over here and we also really recommend his latest full-length release Hollyweird 2.0

About the exclusive mix he made for us, TBG said this: “It represents the best in Soul music past and present. They’re the kind of tracks I am interested in creating myself, music that touches people emotionally and leaves an impression on the listener. Hope you enjoy!”

1. Temika Moore – Let It Go (TBGRemix)
2. Vanessa Simon – Better Place (TBGRemix)
