Delicate yet vivid are the sounds of twenty-one year old Lucy Rose, a highly talented English singer/songwriter with a soundscape that marries the gentle hush of Laura Marling with the rich melodies of Bon Iver. Though still unsigned, she’s making giant steps towards success, touring with Bombay Bicycle Club and featuring on a song off their latest album Flaws. On top of that, her diary for the next month includes shows in Madrid and Barcelona. For those less adventurous, she’s playing at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton this Friday, and then at Cargo in London on July 5th for the launch of her single release. Move quickly though, she’s proving to be very popular. Have a listen below and you’ll see why. Oh and we HIGHLY recommend you watch this as well.
