Premiere: El Prevost – Wheel

South-east London label Troy Town are continuing the theme of keeping it local for their third release from El Prevost.

The producer and label boss cut his teeth during the height of the garage and grime crossover, his Linx Recordings imprint becoming a home for early tracks from artists like Kano and Wiley. He moved into production in 2010 – first as one half of Deepologists – before exploring house and techno, setting up his second label and party series No Speakers in 2016 as a platform to share his music.

A Little Political feels indebted to the sounds of London yet fresh in it’s approach; across the EP you can hear influences from broken beat, dubstep and dub techno, rejuvenated in El Prevost’s own imaginative way.

A Little Political is out now via Troy Town.
