Psychedelic musical archeologists of the Middle East, Fortuna Records‘ next release is from Shimshon Miel, a lone-wolf hippie from Tel-Aviv who experimented with hallucinogenic psych-folk, and self-released his only album in 1977. Amsterdam To Nueiba takes two highlights from the album, plus a subby edit from label co-founder Kalbata. ‘Nueiba Nueiba’ sounds like the opening of a Psychemagik set, hazy West Coast psyche-rock with delusionary percussion and cosmic strumming, switching between styles to keep the trip going.
