Premiere: Lazaros – GE

Untitled-1

While our last Premiere from Jesse Futureman  – with it’s Moby-like combination of melancholy and euphoria – would sit quite at home in an Âme or Dixon set, today’s Premiere can already boast such a feat.

Recently included in the collaborative Essential Mix of the aforementioned German triumvirate, ‘GE’ is the handiwork of Cologne producer Lazaros, the lead track on his new EP on Sub Club’s in house label Nautilus Rising. Recommended to the Glasgow gang by Innversions stalwarts Franky & Sandrino, we’re told the four tracks on GE EP are inspired by “forests, black coffee and beer”, a perfect recipe – it seems – for concocting a dramatic, ethereal peak-time slow-burner in ‘GE’.

Danaeres Targarian may have got bored of jumping into fires and coming out naked, to the surprise of latest set devotees. But if she fancies doing it again in the next season of Game of Throwns, ‘GE’ could be just the soundtrack.

GE EP is out 25th July, with a screen-printed sleeve and pressed to 180g vinyl. Pre-order from the Nautilus Rising website.
