Premiere: A Vision Of Panorama – Mosaic Xylos

After a killer vinyl debut on Aficionado (including remix treatment from Andras Fox) last year and a sophomore release on Music For Dreams last month, A Vision Of Panorama returns on his own Mellophonia imprint with six downtempo and luscious beach grooves oozing with sunshine and island atmosphere.

The Russian producer remains shrouded in secrecy, letting his music to do most of the talking, and why not when your making music as evocative as this? Seaside Tune is comprised of six coastal grooves awash with tropic tones and heat haze. Balearic ambience shimmers uncontrollably on each track, evoking images of melting ice-cream and rubber dinghies in the salty air.

Ahead of its release date next week, today we’re premiering our favourite pick off the EP. ‘Mosaic Xlylos’ begins with Caribbean bongo rhythms and earthy xylophone melodies, setting the paradisiacal background before nostalgic airy synth pads and an irresistible bass line sail into the picture. As the groove begins to build, tropical tonalities drifts out of the speaker in a swirl of circular sequences. The track finishes as it begins, leaving you with strong coastal imagery and an ultimate sense of calm.

Seaside Tune (MLPHEP08) is out on Mellophonia on the 22nd June, and is available to pre-order here.
