This week we’re delighted to premiere Mannmade Music‘s ‘Under’, a slow repeating groove which infuses everything from balearic bass and guitar licks to acidic synth oscillations. Wasting no time, the beat swaggers in on a low slung bass, the quiet vocal sample injecting soul into the heart of the track. As the kick becomes more consistent, the track becomes more busy, with fuzzy retro guitars making it sound as if you’ve spun this record a thousand times. With such an addictive groove, it won’t be long before you’re far off that.
